Which blocked sites have their content available on unblocked sites?

 

Steps

1) Derive issue-related sites known to be blocked in a country.
2) Query list of sites for a controversial subject matter or name in Google Scraper. Retain teaser text.
3) Use Google Scraper to query Google for teaser text phrases. In the query exclude the related blocked sites from the country in question.
4) Check connection stats in Censorship Explorer proxy tool for newly discovered sites in country in question.
5) Distinguish content that is authored by the censored parties, and that which is authored by non-censored parties.

Note: irrepressible.info, the Amnesty International site, has code that allows one to display fragments of blocked content on your own Website.
