Green Issues
Question: What are the green issues in the three spheres and do they overlap?
Method: Extract issues from the three source sets. Compare issues across spheres and determine their specificity per sphere.
Two methods are used to extract green issues from the three source sets. The first makes use of the tool
Open Calais. Specific pages in the source set are entered in Open Calais. From the categorized keywords the tool returns as output, keywords in the category "industry terms" are extracted and saved.
The second method is manual and slightly differs across source sets. green home blogs and critical commentary blogs are queried in technorati.com and tags are copy/pasted. Additionally, these list are complementred with category lists from the blogs. The green issue network are less generic. Each site is searched for a list of issues. These are extracted and saved.
